Our home is 'in the country' on 30 acres between Austin and Houston. We are about 15 minutes 'from town', Brenham where we shop, go to school, and go to church. Although our life is very busy at times, it is also very peaceful.
A private, fully furnished, two-bedroom, cottage on our property is provided for the Nanny/Tutor.
We are looking for a Nanny/Tutor with strong Christian values that is self motivated and desires to use her teaching background. We have a housekeeper that comes twice a week. Our nanny/teacher will need to do some light housekeepeing and help the children to complete their chores. We will also need the nanny to help with errands and shuffling kids to activities and appointments.
We need our nanny to be flexible with our schedule. Most weekends and evenings the nanny will not be on duty. The exception will be when my husband and I are traveling. Generally we travel for a 3 day weekend approximately 7 times a year, take 1 one week business vacation, and we try to stay in Houston overnight 1 night per week. We typically schedule these overnight well in advance. We also want to encourage our nanny to be involved with her own interests. That said we want to work around her scheduled activities.

We are praying that God will lead us to the one He has chosen, and that He has been preparing her as well. We don't believe that it's ever too early to surround children with Godly influences in their lives.
