Employment Agreement
An employment agreement form that covers areas pertinent to Nanny employment. For both the employer and employee records. Use
to establish terms of household employment and initial length of agreed stay, hours and salary, overtime, privileges, responsibilities. Should be signed by both parties
and dated. If amended at a future date, should be initialized by both parties and dated. You can use this form as
is or modify it to your satisfaction, this is just a template to get started.
You can write your own contract if you want. It is best to get the terms of employment in writing so that both parties understand fully what is expected/anticipated in the employment relationship.
Employment agreements signed by both parties are legally binding in a civil court of law.
Medical Records
A letter of good health from the nanny's physician should suffice in most cases if it is necessary to verify nanny's current health status. Privacy laws do apply in regard to the obtaining of full disclosure of medical records.
